Step 3

Sagittarius — “made a decision”

Completing the three Fire Signs in the Zodiac is Sagittarius. The symbol is an arrow with a cross.

Step 3 in AA is where the decision is made to turn the self over to a higher power to aid in the recovery process.

In Aztrology, the cross in the symbol refers to the coordinate system we created in Step 2. The arrow is the path we choose that takes us to our preferred goal.

It’s worthwhile mentioning that having settled on an outcome and knowing how we’ll manage the challenges that arise, the decision feels like the release of an arrow from a bow.
