Step 4

Libra — “fearless moral inventory“

As we move into the Air Signs, Libra is our first stop. The symbol is an equal sign with a circle rising from the top line.

Step 4 in AA is the fearless moral inventory of past experience where we identify our character defects and shortcomings.

In Aztrology, the upper and lower parts of the symbol represent our psychic (energy) and physical (mass) selves respectively. The rising sphere represents our dawning self awareness.

One of the evolutions in the 12 Step movement was the adoption of a blameless inventory in certain contexts.

In Aztrology, the purpose of the inventory is to fully appreciate our coherent origin story in order to create forward momentum. The path aligns the past and present with our goal.
